Power Prospecting System vs. Magnetic Sponsoring System - Which Is Better?
December 16, 2008 10:30 PM

If you are a network marketing representative looking for an online system that you can use to recruit other network marketing distributors into your business, the Power Prospecting System and the Magnetic Sponsoring System are two of the most widely used systems online.

The question is, which one is better?

How are the Power Prospecting System and Magnetic Sponsoring Similar?

Let's start out by looking at the similarities between the two systems.

As an internet network marketer there are several components that you need to make a good online prospecting system work for you.  First, you need a good lead capture page or landing page that does an excellent job at getting prospects to request more information from you.

Second, you need a contact manager that tracks the name, phone number and email address of your prospects.  This way you can send emails to and contact your prospects by phone.

Finally, you need a suite of products that you can offer to your prospects as funded proposals.  This means you can generate commissions from the sale of these products that you can use to re-invest back into your marketing. In turn, this will help you generate enough leads to recruit people into your primary network marketing opportunity.

Both the Power Prospecting System and the Magnetic Sponsoring System perform these three basic functions.  Therefore, you can use either of them to implement your internet network marketing business strategies if you so desire.

Magnetic Sponsoring & Power Prospecting System - The Differences

There are a number of differences between the two systems that you need to be aware of.

If price is a concern, the prices between the two systems simply isn't even comparable.  The Magnetic Sponsoring system comes free with your purchase of the book Magnetic Sponsoring  by Mike Dillard.  The book is a one time investment of only $39.

The Power Prospecting system costs $2.95 to try out for 14 days.  If you like the system and want to continue using it, it requires a monthly investment of $39.95.  On the basis of cost, Magnetic Sponsoring is clearly the more affordable option.

So if the Power Prospecting system costs so much more than Magnetic Sponsoring does it provide more benefits that make the cost worth it?  There are a number of additional benefits to the PPS system that the MS system simply doesn't provide.

Branding and Other Differences between Both Internet Network Marketing Systems

One of the biggest benefits of the Power Prospecting system is the fact that it brands you as the distributor.  On the sales page, in the emails and all throughout the system, your name and your contact information appears.  You can even include a picture of yourself.

Magnetic Sponsoring brands the owner of the program, Mike Dillard.  In fact, I can't recall a single instance where the Magnetic Sponsoring system has the name of the distributor anywhere in the marketing material.

If you are looking for  network marketing or internet network marketing training, you must purchase Mike Dillard's additional products.  With the Power Prospecting System, much of this type of training is available as part of your monthly membership.

There are audio as well as video trainings that you can access online as part of the back office.  In addition, they even have live conference calls that you can attend as part of the training as well.

Commissions

The commissions for the Magnetic Sponsoring system are significantly higher. Since Mike Dillard offers additional products, he pays the promoters of the system up to 50% for each product purchased by a lead that enters the system.  Power Prospecting pays up to two levels of affiliate commissions only for people who sign up for the system.

Keep in mind the two tiered affiliate structure for the Power Prospecting System can get you in trouble with your primary network marketing company if they have any restrictions on you participating in another network marketing program.

The Power Prospecting System may work for you if you are in a company that doesn't restrict you from participating in other network marketing programs.  However, if you are, your only choice is to use the Magnetic Sponsoring system and to either purchase Mike's additional programs or get your training elsewhere.

The Cash Flow Quadrant in Network Marketing
August 11, 2008 6:01 PM
In the Rich Dad Poor Dad Book series authored by Robert Kiyosaki, Kiyosaki talks about the Cash Flow quadrant. This concept outlines the four ways people earn money for a living.

According to Kiyosaki, the four ways are E for employee, S for small business owner, B for big business owner and I for investor.

In the network marketing industry, there are four different types of distributors as well. These various distributor types make up all of the distributors in the network marketing industry.

Your goal is to figure out which area in the cash flow quadrant you are currently in with your network marketing business, and which area in the cash flow quadrant you want to be.

Are You a Network Marketing Employee?

The first area makes up the upper left hand side of the cash flow quadrant. This is the area of the E, which stands for employee.

The overwhelming majority of distributors that are in the network marketing industry are in the E category of the cash flow quadrant.

So what makes an E type distributor in network marketing?

An E distributor is any distributor that currently earns all of his or her income from the result of his or her own efforts in network marketing.

This means the only way this distributor makes any money is when he or she personally makes a sale of the product or service they offer in their network marketing opportunity.

Are You a Small Business Owner?

The second area makes up the lower left hand side of the cash flow quadrant. This is the area of the S, which stands for small business owner or self-employed. This is the second largest group of distributors that are in the network marketing industry.

So how do we define a S type distributor in network marketing?

This is a distributor that has a small team in place.

This distributor is earning some income off the efforts of his or her organization. However, the large majority of his or her income still comes from personal efforts, not from the efforts of the team.

Are You a Big Business Owner?

The third area makes up the upper right hand side of the cash flow quadrant. This is the area of the B, which stands for big business owner. A very small minority of distributors fit into this category, but not the smallest out of the four categories.

What makes a distributor a B distributor?

It is at that magical moment in your network marketing business when you realize that the large majority of your income comes from the efforts of the organization and not your personal efforts.

When you can personally go months without sponsoring any new distributors, yet still cash checks with a comma in them, you have become a B distributor.

Are You a Network Marketing Investor?

The fourth area makes up the bottom right hand side of the cash flow quadrant. This is the area of the I, which stands for investor. An overwhelmingly small minority of network marketing distributors fit into this category.

How do you define an I distributor?

These are the distributors that make so much money from their network marketing business, they have no choice but to find other investment vehicles for the excess cash flow being generated by their network marketing business.

These are the six figure annual income earners. These are the millionaires in the industry. These are the leaders with the huge passive cash flows and the incredible lifestyles.

Your Network Marketing Business — How Far Will You Take It?

So take a look at your network marketing business.

Which quadrant are you in right now?

What steps can you take to advance to the next quadrant if you are not already in the I quadrant?

These are the questions you need to ask yourself on a regular and consistent basis if you wish to have long term success in your network marketing business.

Cold Calling vs. Red Hot Prospects Powerful Recruiting System, a New Technology.
-by Latisha Wright
November 30, 2008 10:30 PM
In the old school model of prospecting salespeople like Network Marketers, Internet Network Marketers, Insurance agents, Realtors, Travel Agents and  you name it, used cold calling leads or bugged friends and family.

When you purchased expensive leads from different lead sources and cold called them, prospects rejected you. Either they had no clue who you were, or about 20 other people contacted them to join their business or they faked like they never requested to be contacted, even though you were staring at their contact information:  name, phone number, physical address, email address and how much were they willing to invest to join a business.

Along came Attraction Marketing. Giving a prospects value of something they truly want and need. Having prospects come to you first, then prospects initiating the business relationship and now you've just generated a lead. In order to keep these leads and future ones, you must first, build a relationship with them and establish their trust. After this has been accomplished, prospects won't have a problem buying from you.

Whether it's to join your business opportunity, or buy your products, or services, to keep them long term you must continue to provide them value for example it could be by providing a valued packed newsletter. To keep them updated on things that got them onto your list in the first place. Examples could be about upcoming Trainings, Conference Calls, Live Webinars Events to help grow their business. Always, provide value and not always pitching your product, business opportunity or services making yourself look like a selfish marketer.

Let's talk a little bit about leads for a moment. Leads are the lifeblood of your business. If we can agree, a business can't survive without leads which turn into customers. Leads are the lifeblood of any business ever having it's chances of surviving. No Qualified Leads+ No Customers= No Sale = No Money. It's that simple.

How about a new technology?

A powerful recruiting system, RED HOT PROSPECTS, brings you leads who call you daily about your business. At the push of a button you could have customers calling you and chasing you, wanting to join your business. Simply call a phone number that is given to you, record your message to send to your prospects, upload leads that come along with the system.

100 million includes 15 million MLM Genealogy Leads, Unlimited Business to Business leads or your own leads. Set a schedule and push a button "the Send Button."
Within minutes your message is sent to 100's or 1000's, sit back let the system do all the sifting and sorting for you, and in minutes Qualified Prospects "Cash In Hand" start contacting you!

No matter who, you are or what you do, you could just be getting started building a business or maybe simply tired of cold calling leads, the RedHotProspects Powerful Recruiting System helps you get customers calling you on demand, doing all the hard work for you: Cold Calling, Inviting and Following up for you, it just that simple.
When the prospect calls you, it gives them the option to opt in to be connected directly to you or the option to opt out, never to be contacted again, placing them on the Do Not Call list. What Great Value!

If you are looking for support and the economy has got you down by struggling in your industry, to get highly motivated qualified leads, for your business, you've come to the right place.

Your First Year In Network Marketing : by Mark Yarnell is about Fears, Success and Dreams.
—by Deborah Marsden
July 4, 2008 8:12 PM
As far as I'm concerned, if you only read one network marketing book in your life, this should be it. Mark Yarnell and this book might be getting a bit 'long in the tooth' by now but the principles and truths presented in this book have changed very little.

I read this book over ten years ago now and it's because of what I learned from reading it that I was able to stay focused in my network marketing business.

Today, ten years later, some newer and more effective strategies are available which can produce remarkable results but the very basics upon which network marketing is built and described in Your First Year In Network Marketing by Mark and Rene Reid Yarnell are still true today.

When I went into network marketing I went in cold, blind and scared to death! I had no idea where to begin but I heard about this book by Mark Yarnell and I knew I had to read it.

I had many "Aha" moments as I went through the book page by page. I know if I hadn't I would have quit years ago. I learned what to expect, how to deal with my fears and how to move forward and achieve everything I wanted.

Mark Yarnell has a great sense of humor and gets to the point. He "calls 'em as he sees 'em". I came away feeling that this guy has been really truthful and didn't pull any punches.

Here are some of the things covered:

1. How To Deal With Rejection!

This works for any kind of rejection you have in life. I learned how to not fear rejection, but to use it to my advantage. If you are prepared, know how to approach prospects and when, the rejection rate can be reduced greatly. Plus, you come to understand that it's all part of business.

2. How To Be Self-Sufficient And Learn To Stand On Your Own Two Feet In This Business.

Learn how to lead by example. Network Marketing has a strong emphasis on team building. There are no "bosses" only leaders. It's important to teach self-reliance and self-sufficiency all the time providing support and guidance. Doing this will strengthen your network marketing organization.

3. How To Maintain Your Enthusiasm When Things Aren't Going Exactly To Plan.

I knew I'd hit bumps along the way and it was very helpful to know that this is normal and I learned how to deal with these bumps in the road and keep on going.

4. How To "Win Through Integrity", Rather Than Exaggeration.

Everyone likes to deal with people who have integrity. These are the people they come to trust and admire and who they want to do business with.

It's one thing to be excited and enthusiastic which great belief in what you do, but at the same time, it's important to 'keep it real'. This business takes work and effort and to persuade a prospect by misleading them into thinking its easy and effortless is being less than honest.

Prospects that you've brought into the business in this fashion will soon find out the truth, they always do and they'll be gone just a quickly as they came.

It's so much better to find the right people by being honest not just about the rewards but about the commitment and dedication required as well. This is a home-based industry where rewards are commensurate with effort.

Your prospects will respect your honesty.

5. How To Overcome Your Reluctance To Offer A Quality Lifestyle To Family And Friends

In this chapter the focus is on 'relationship marketing' and creating a huge 'warm list'.

At the time this book was written, the Internet didn't have the presence it does now.

The importance of 'relationship marketing' remains the same today as then, but how we can go about it has changed. Now we can use the internet to create these relationships and although this method isn't presented, the fundamentals are still relevant.

6. How To Stay Focused Amidst All The Distractions

Some very good points are made here. Simply put, in the early days of any new MLM'er it's very easy to "yield to temptation to change direction every time a new system comes along".

Network Marketing is about system duplication and so every time you change your system, everyone in your team gets confused. Pay attention to those who know what they're talking about, plug into their system stick with it.

7. Avoid The Pitfalls Of Counterproductive Meetings

Here Mark talks about the Minefield of Meetings. Effective recruiting and training meetings are important and are the foundation of the business. However, they can be disastrous as well.

Avoid the big hotel meetings as they promote dependency, and are impersonal, remembering that this is a "relationship" business.

Think of the embarrassment of a meeting with "low turn-out". He goes on to describe many other reasons why this type of meeting is bad for business.

Once again, the Internet wasn't around when he wrote this book, so we now have the advantage of cyberspace to keep in touch, establish and maintain relationships and yes, you can even conduct meetings.

Times have changed for sure since Mark wrote this book but his warnings about meetings still have value. Pay attention.

These are just some of the topics and discussions found in Your First Year In Network Marketing.

Although the advent of the computer and the internet has changed the way we can meet people and build relationships, attract prospects and build our businesses, the points he makes are still valid and worth spending some time with.

One of the best things you can do for yourself in the network marketing industry or in any other industry for that matter is to be prepared. Know what you're getting into and what you can expect. This includes the fun, excitement, joy and income that are part of the MLM industry.

Your First Year In Network Marketing: Overcome your fears, Experience Success, and Achieve Your Dreams is a good resource for anyone in the network marketing industry.

Mark Yarnell and Rene Reid Yarnell know what it is to be successful and want everyone to enjoy their level of success too.

SURPRISE! Rich Dad's Robert Kiyosaki Exudes Nothing But Praise for the Network Marketing Industry
August 1, 2008 7:11 PM
Review of The Business School: For People Who Like Helping People
Robert T. Kiyosaki with Sharon L. Lechter, C.P.A.

After encountering rejection and looks of disgust from friends, family and colleagues when I told them I was venturing into network marketing, I was refreshed and thrilled when I read The Business School.

Kiyosaki explains in his straightforward style that building a network marketing business:

... is a revolutionary way to achieve wealth.

... makes it possible for anyone to acquire great wealth.

... is open to anyone who has drive, determination and perseverance.

I am also impressed by Kiyosaki's honesty and caring. For example, he sums up his feelings for the network marketing industry in the following way: "Because I did not gain my fortune from building a network marketing business, I can be a bit more objective about the industry. This book describes what I see are the real values of a network marketing business - values that go beyond just the potential of making a lot of money. I finally found a business with a heart."

Kiyosaki starts by listing eleven ways to become rich - the eleventh being network marketing. He emphasizes the importance of finding a business that works for you and your core values. He stresses that his rich dad taught his son and him that core values are far more important than money.

This book proceeds to share those values, chapter by chapter. So, let's get started together.

Value # 1: True Equal Opportunity

From having a closed mind about network marketing in the mid-1970s, Kiyosaki was re-introduced to network marketing in the early 1990s. A wealthy friend - from large and successful real estate investments - had started a network marketing business. Upon retiring in 1994 at the age of 47, Kiyosaki, with his new opened mind, started researching the industry.

He has become a staunch supporter, because most network marketing companies offer true equal opportunities and are compassionate businesses that will stick by you through thick and thin. Unlike traditional educational systems and corporations that value survival-of-the-fittest, these companies spread peace.

Value # 2: Life-Changing Business Education

Even though the chance to make a lot of money is what appeals to many people joining this industry, the number-one reason Kiyosaki recommends a network marketing business is for its educational system. He suggests that before joining a business - and this is exactly why I joined the group that I am involved with - that we take our time to investigate their business education and training.

In his lucid style, Kiyosaki diagrams and explains the life-changing education of the "The Learning Pyramid" which contains four points: mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. He feels that value found in life-changing education is the difference between values placed on learning from our mistakes versus punishing people for making mistakes.

Value # 3: Friends Who Will Pull You Up, Not Push You Down

Yes, when I started in network marketing, I heard, "You must be crazy! It's some sort of scam." Just as Kiyosaki points out that this business not only provides a great business education, it also provides a whole new world of friends. These friends are going in the same direction you and I are.

In this chapter, he also shares the CASHFLOW Quadrant, which is a book in itself. My suggestion is to internalize what has been written in that book, too. It will clarify why a B quadrant plan is suggested rather than embracing the traditional plan, "Go to school. Get good grades. Join a company and you will have security for life." Ha! Most of us bought into it. Read and you will change your thinking.

Value # 4: What Is The Value Of A Network?

Metcalf's Law is:
A Network's Economic Value = Number of Users
In other words, the economic value of a network goes up exponentially, not numerically. Network marketing is an invisible business which, as a form of franchising, operates out of homes or small offices. The Industrial Age is over and we are entering - or actually in - the Information Age.

Value # 5: Developing Your Most Important Business Skill

"The ability to sell is the number-one skill in business." This is wisdom learned from Kiyosaki's rich dad. "There is a rich person and a poor person inside each of us. There is also a winner and a loser inside of each of us. Every time we let our fears, our doubts, or our low self-esteem win, the loser wins. Learning to sell - an opportunity given by a network marketing business and the leaders involved - brings out the winner in you."

Value # 6: Leadership

Kiyosaki feels that network marketing brings out a different type of leader. And leadership skills are not optional. If one loves to lead by teaching, by influencing and inspiring others to find their own world of financial abundance without having to beat the competition, then a network marketing business might be the right choice.

Value # 7: Not Working For Money

It is sad that most people have been trained to work for money when instead they should be working to build wealth. The two ideas that fit this core value are first, "In the real world, emotional intelligence is more important than mental intelligence if you want to become rich." And second, the plan, "So build a business first, reinvest in the business second, and third, buy real estate." Unfortunately, most people lack the patience, the discipline, and the willingness to delay gratification to follow such a plan.

Value # 8: Living Your Dreams

In the final summary by Kiyosaki, I found my answer to the question, "Should I join and embrace a network marketing business?" I am asked this all the time. Kiyosaki's answer is perfect:

"If you are a person with big dreams and would love to support others in achieving their big dreams, then the network marketing business is definitely a business for you. You can start your business part-time at first and then as your business grows, you can help other people start their part-time business. This is a value worth having - a business and people who help others make their dreams come true."

Robert Kiyosaki Says The Business School For People Who Like Helping People is Found in Network Marketing
— by Eric Walker
July 24, 2008 9:12 PM
I like Robert Kiyosaki because every time I read one of his books, I learn something. The Business School For People Who Like Helping People is no different, and I recommend it to anyone considering network marketing as a viable way to create wealth. Kiyosaki educates his readers. I applaud him for successfully opening my eyes to network marketing as a different answer, an alternative to "working for the man."

But I'll be honest, any successful network marketer could have written this book. It's not the best network marketing book I've read. But the public at large has come to trust Kiyosaki's educational advice around wealth building.

Therefore, this book represents Kiyosaki's leverage. He uses his powerful reputation as an opportunity to discuss what he believes about the wonderful opportunity to be found in network marketing.

He presents this discussion eloquently; in a way that dispels the controversy surrounding network marketing as a scam, or full of greedy people trying to make a quick buck.

Hammering the point that to be successful in this business, you must first help others, Kiyosaki supports network marketing as a true equal opportunity business that values human compassion.

There is no doubt that people are fighting to have choices: to live and think and live life the way one wants to live it. According to Kiyosaki, that's what network marketing offers people.

In The Business School for People Who Like Helping People , you will understand why the author of ten best selling books including the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series, says building a network marketing business is a revolutionary way to achieve wealth.

Build Your Business With Others

Kiyosaki stresses the importance of helping others build their business first. He points out personal examples of successful people in network marketing who helped others first. And by doing so, were able to create wealth over time. He points out that the more someone in network marketing helps others build their business, the more their own business will grow. This, he explains, is a win-win situation.

This book will open your eyes to network marketing as a viable opportunity to learn, grow and build business with others. As I discovered after reading, it is a new answer for anyone who can adhere to the concept of helping others first. This is one reason among others why Kiyosaki calls network marketing a revolution.

Build a Network and the Riches Will Come

Kiyosaki discusses the importance of building your own network. He uses the analogy that people go to school and learn to be an employee in a system. But they don't own the system. System, he says, is another word for network. And if someone really wants to be rich, they must know and understand the power found in networks. Rich people build networks.

He uses examples from his Rich Dad and Poor Dad. Describing how his Rich Dad understood the system, or network to build his own. He cautions that in five years time, Rich Dad wasn't rich, and his peers were earning more. But in ten years, Rich Dad was wealthier than even his doctor and lawyer friends. The moral: if you build your network, you will gain success.

Back To School

Network marketing can be looked upon as a business school for those that seek the real-world skills of an entrepreneur. This is a primary message throughout the book. These entrepreneurial skills acquired as a network marketer are in stark contrast to those learned as an employee (even a high paid employee).

The education that network marketing provides, according to Kiyosaki, is one of real-life. This can be found through training programs and almost always through personal or team mentoring. These skills include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. An attitude of success
  2. Leadership skills
  3. Communication skills
  4. Overcoming personal fears, doubts and lack of confidence
  5. Time-management skills

Network Marketing Levels the Playing Field

Where else can anyone be a part of an opportunity with determination and perseverance alone?

"That's the beauty of a network marketing business," says Kiyosaki.

The opportunity is there for anyone who is able to teach and learn and help other people build their business too.

He provides this straight forward advice, "...if you are willing to stick it out, and learn and study at your own pace, the business will continue to stick by your side..."

Eric Walker Eric Walker has been a public school teacher and youth athletic coach for nearly ten years. He now leverages his ability to communicate and convey information to teach others for Internet Network Marketing training and coaching. He will work with his clients to use attraction marketing and the Internet to generate leads for network marketers, and home and small business owners.

Review of "The E-Myth Revisited" Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It
July 29, 2008 6:08 PM
The numbers don't lie.

40% of all small businesses go out of business within the first year.

80% of all small businesses go out of business within the first 5 years.

Out of the 20% that remain in business for more than 5 years, 80% of those businesses fail in the second five years.

Why is there such a high rate of failure for small businesses?

In "The E-Myth Revisited", author Michael Gerber believes he has discovered the reason.

The reason is because of a huge myth about entrepreneurship and small business ownership.

Most people believe that people start businesses for the purposes of making a profit.

Gerber believes that this to not only be not true, but that this is a myth that is contributing to the failures of many small businesses.

In this book, Gerber outlines the REAL reason why most people go into business for themselves.

Most businesses are started because the new business owner previously worked on a job.

The business owner believes that just because they understand how to do the technical work of their job that also means that they can run a business related to their job.

This is actually not true and when people start businesses for themselves and find out that this is not the case, they eventually shut down the business and that's why most small businesses fail.

So what does this have to do with network marketing?

A lot actually.

There is a very similar myth that occurs in network marketing, very similar to the E-Myth that is outlined in this book.

If you take a survey and ask people why they made the decision to get involved in network marketing, you will get a variety of different answers.

However, if you really look at the heart of the matter, there is only one reason why most people get involved in network marketing.

It's the compensation plan!

Most people are attracted to the possibility of being able to build an organization where someone else does the actual work and they get paid for it.

This is the foundation of the network marketing dream.

There is a Network Marketing-Myth though that you need to be aware of.

The Myth centers around how the compensation plan works.

In most network marketing companies you hear these scenarios of "lets say you recruited one person, and each recruited one and they each recruited one, etc."

At the conclusion of the scenario you see that you have thousands of people in your organization.

This is the Network Marketing-Myth!

You are not going to recruit one person and have a team of thousands.

You're certainly not going to recruit one person and have a team of tens or hundreds of thousands of distributors.

So how do you address the Network Marketing-Myth?

The same ways Michael Gerber suggests for addressing the E-Myth.

The two myths really are one in the same because they are both based on misconceptions of how businesses actually work.

The foundational concept of this book is that you should treat and run your business as if you were going to franchise it out and the business had to work even if you had no involvement in it whatsoever.

If most entrepreneurs ran their businesses in this fashion, there are many things they are doing today that they wouldn't be doing if they ran their businesses in this fashion.

The same holds true in network marketing.

If you ran your network marketing business as a business model that was to be franchised out to others and it had to work even if you weren't involved, there are many things that you would not be doing.

Like calling 100 leads a day hoping to find one good prospect.

Like standing in a book store all day stalking the business section.

This book is an important book for every network marketer because if you read it and apply it, you will change your mindset regarding how to build an organization.

This is what makes the attraction network marketing business model so powerful.

With attraction network marketing instead of just building a distributorship for your primary network marketing opportunity you are building a real business that you could theoretically take the concept, franchise it out and it could run without your involvement as long as everyone used the systems in place for attraction network marketing.

So next time you are in your neighborhood book store, instead of "sharking" for prospects, why don't you pick up a copy of "The E-Myth Revisited" and read it.

It could literally revolutionize the way you do business in network marketing.

Review of "The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing"
July 14, 2008 7:57 PM
You have been deceived.

Almost everything you have been taught about network marketing simply isn't true.

That's why you are struggling to recruit a few people a year and you can't seem to reach the point where you are actually making money in your business as oppose to spending money on your business.

This is the message that is shared in the book "The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing" by Ann Sieg.

In this book Ann Sieg shares her story of how she struggled in the industry of network marketing for years never having success and making significant money until she discovered the "lies" that she outlines in her book.

Once she made this discovery, she immediately made changes to her business and as a result, instead of having a difficult time building her network marketing business, she started to have massive success.

This book is definitely not for the faint in heart.

In this book, Ann Sieg holds nothing back.

She clearly articulates her dislike for many of the strategies, principles and techniques shared by many leaders, trainers and companies in the network marketing industry.

In fact she blames these same strategies, principles and techniques for the high level of failure in the industry.

First off, who is this book NOT right for?

If you are closed minded about learning a new approach to building a network marketing business and you are committed to using traditional network marketing prospecting techniques such as exposing all of your friends and family to your business, prospecting everybody you meet using the three foot rule and cold calling prospects, this book is not going to be a good fit for you.

In all likelihood, you will be highly offended by the content shared in "The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing" and you will most likely send the author hate email because of it.

However if you are sick and tired of not having success in your network marketing business and you are looking to make a change, this book may be exactly what you are looking for.

The message of this book is a simple message.

That message is network marketing doesn't have to be like "pulling teeth."

The process can be simplified simply by using effective marketing strategies and techniques.

So what are the seven "great" lies?

You will have to read the book to find out.

However, I will tell you that they mainly have to do with the prospecting strategies most distributors are taught as to how to build an effective network marketing business.

The biggest problem in network marketing today is that most distributors spend too much time finding good prospects to talk to about their business.

Not enough network marketing distributors spend enough time actually TALKING to good prospects about their business.

A good prospect is someone who has a TRUE interest in what you are offering as a network marketing distributor.

As a network marketing distributor, there are two things you offer.

They are...

a) Your product line - Whether its soap, weight loss products, nutritional products, insurance or telephone services, this is the product or service your company offers.

b) Your business opportunity - This is the network marketing opportunity available as a distributor for the company you represent.

The key to becoming successful in network marketing is to find people who are already interested in either your product line, a business opportunity or both and spend as much time as possible with those types of prospects and less to zero time with prospects who you have no idea whether they are interested in your product line or a business opportunity.

How do you do this?

You must first discover what the seven "great" lies are, how to avoid them and what you should do in their place.

Once you identify the seven lies of network marketing and take proactive steps to eliminate them from your business, then you are on your way to building a massively successful network marketing business.

However until you discover what these lies are and eliminate them from your business, you will continue to spin your wheels and experience endless amounts of frustration because you are building your business with an inefficient and ineffective method.

This is the message of "The 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing."

If you are interested in discovering what the 7 "great" lies are and what steps you should take instead to build your

Review of Ann Sieg's - "The Renegade Network Marketer"
July 17, 2008 7:13 AM

Have you ever wondered if there was something the top distributors in the network marketing industry understood but for some reason they weren't sharing this information with you?

If so, you are not alone.

Many a distributor has pondered this same thought.

Why?

It's simple.

When you are struggling, are lacking in success in the industry and can't seem to figure out why others are having more success than you at a much faster rate you start to wonder these types of questions.

Ann Sieg, the author of "The Renegade Network Marketer" started to wonder about these types of questions herself.

What she found out is that there are some methodologies and strategies that are never shared at your business opportunity meetings that can catapult your business from a struggling chore to a successful enterprise.

Ann Sieg outlines what these strategies are and how they work in her book "The Renegade Network Marketer."

Why "The Renegade Network Marketer?"

Because there is a very good chance that the strategies and techniques that you are going to learn in this book run contrary to the strategies and techniques that you are learning from your upline support team and your network marketing company.

As a result, there is also a good chance that you will be seen as a "renegade" as someone who is "uncoach-able" and as someone who is not willing to "follow the system."

However, there's a good chance that the so called "system" really isn't working for you.

If it was working for you, would you even be reading this?

Now you might ask, "Why should I learn a new way of doing network marketing?

My leaders are making a six or seven figure income based on doing network marketing the traditional way.

Shouldn't I do what they do so I can have what they have?"

Let me ask you a question...

Could you chop down a tree with a sharp axe?

Absolutely!

Could you chop down a tree with a dull axe?

Absolutely!

However, it will take you a lot longer to chop down a tree with a dull axe then it would to chop down a tree with a sharp axe.

The "Renegade Network Marketing" book is an example of the "sharp axe" that Ann Sieg used to chop down her tree of network marketing success.

Here's the problem with doing network marketing using traditional network marketing techniques based on the success of your leaders.

Many of your leaders have been building their network marketing businesses for years, if not decades.

The foundation of their business, meaning the strongest distributors that contribute the most to their income were found in the 70's the 80's and the 90's an era that is completely different than the era we are in today.

What may work in one era may be completely inefficient and ineffective in another era.

The other reason why you may not want to follow the strategies suggested by your leaders is because of the reason why these strategies are given to you.

If you really sit down and talk with most of the leaders in network marketing and you analyze the reasons why they teach the strategies that are suggested, it is because of one reason and one reason only.

Duplication!

Network marketing leaders know that this business is a business of duplication.

The problem is most of the people who get started in this business have little to no business and marketing ability.

Therefore in order to achieve duplication, the leaders have to teach people strategies and techniques that anyone can do.

This is why there is such a huge focus of strategies such as prospecting friends and family and prospecting everybody you know using the three foot rule.

None of these strategies requires any money and all of these strategies are something the average person can do.

However, the average person doesn't make any money.

The above average person does.

If you want to learn how you can be above average and start making money every single month in your network marketing business, I highly recommend you read "The Renegade Network Marketer" today.

It may not make you popular with your upline.

However, I think you would much rather be wealthy and unpopular than broke and popular.

Mike Dillard and Magnetic Sponsoring
August 11, 2008 6:51 PM
Mike Dillard wrote Magnetic Sponsoring when he discovered the way to go from frustrated network marketer to successful business Guru, sponsoring people into his network marketing business easily and consistently.

What Attracts People to Network Marketing?

Dillard made a key connection when he began asking himself the right questions.

Why do people get started in a home business opportunity? To make more money? Hoping to quit their job? A passion for the product or service?

Mike Dillard began to realize that while these are many reasons that people give for wanting to get involved in a business opportunity, there is really one primary reason.

They are looking for a solution to a problem.

If someone joins your business opportunity, regardless of what they say the reason is, the real reason is they are looking for a solution to a problem that they believe your business opportunity provides.

The only reason they quit is because they no longer believe your opportunity is the solution to the problem they joined to correct.

Understanding this concept is VITAL if you are looking to become successful in your network marketing business.

Magnetic Sponsoring Teaches How to Become a Solutions Provider

Mastering this concept is the foundation of the Magnetic Sponsoring book written by Mike Dillard.

In Magnetic Sponsoring, you learn that the secret to becoming successful in network marketing is to provide solutions to the problems that people face today.

For example, one problem people are dealing with today is high gas prices. They need a way to earn an extra $100 to $200 to pay for gas.

What if you could provide a solution for this problem? Do you think you could recruit a lot of people?

Absolutely!

Your network marketing company offers a business opportunity that is a viable solution to this problem. It shouldn't be difficult to earn an extra $100 to $200 in your company.

If it is, you are in the wrong company!

Why Leading with Your Business Opportunity is a Mistake

You must understand that your network marketing opportunity is nothing more or less than an answer to your prospect's problem. Here's where most distributors mess up though.

They lead with their opportunity.

Why is leading with the opportunity a bad thing? Because in most cases you can't give the prospect enough information which makes them believe your opportunity is the solution to their problem.

Most prospects understand conceptually how your opportunity can help. However, they don't understand how to make it happen.

Chances are if you are building this business using traditional network marketing techniques one of the biggest questions you receive from prospects is "So what will I be doing?"

Lead with an Information Product First

This is where the Magnetic Sponsoring system differs from other prospecting systems in the network marketing industry.

With the Magnetic Sponsoring system, Mike Dillard teaches you to provide the prospect with an information product first instead of the business opportunity.

Why an information product first?

Because it's generic and appeals to the largest amount of people. Leading with a product which offers information also proves to your prospect that you have an actual solution for their problem. The prospect may not feel that a specific network marketing opportunity has the same value.

It's easier to get the prospect to buy and read your information product than it is to get them to commit to your business opportunity.

Once the prospect reviews your information product, that prospect will be able to make an informed decision as to whether your solution will solve their problem.

Once they believe it will, they will join the business on their own without you having to beg or convince them.

Don't you stand a greater chance of making more money in your business if you have people reaching out to you ready to get started as opposed to people you are chasing and begging to get started?

If so, you need to purchase a copy of Mike Dillard's Magnetic Sponsoring so you can learn how to implement this approach to your network marketing business.
