Network Marketing Success Today...

Here you'll find the best training tips for network marketing success today.

The MLM industry is changing fast because of several merging factors, many of which grew out of an evolving Internet.

A new kind of network marketing training is here—teaching you the same proven strategies that made all other successful industries flourish (outside the MLM world).

Once out of reach of network marketers because of the dumbing-down effect of a KISS paradigm (Keeping it short and simple)—network marketing is now taught like a real business system just like best selling authors Michael Gerber of The E-Myth and Robert Kiyosaki of Rich Dad Poor Dad and Cash Flow Quadrant described—

In this "new" network marketing business training, you don't just build one asset, you build multiple assets.

You set up your marketing to attract your prospects to you while monetizing like traditional businesses do to generate cash flow that keeps you afloat long enough to build the bigger residual income.

It's called working smarter instead of harder.

Today's version of network marketing has arrived and the Internet is its new track. Are you on board?

Network Marketers: Are You Carrying Buckets or Building a Pipeline?
July 14, 2008 12:13 PM
Attention all network marketers!

Let me ask you a simple question.

Are you carrying buckets or are you building a pipeline in your network marketing business?

What do I mean by this?

Have you ever read the book, "Cashflow Quadrant" by Robert Kiyosaki? If not, I highly encourage you to read it.

At the beginning of this book Robert shares a story that was told to him by his "rich dad."

Carrying Buckets vs. Building Your Pipeline

To make a long story short, two entrepreneurs set up businesses to deliver water to the residents of a village.

One carries buckets to the villagers. The other goes away for six months, comes back with a team and over the next six months builds a pipeline of water.

When the second entrepreneur was finally ready, he offered his water for 75% less than the first guy, offered it more frequently and offered better quality.

Needless to say, he did extremely well.

Robert says that this story helps him to ask himself two questions that are responsible for making him as rich and wealthy as he is today. Those questions are the following...

"Am I building a pipeline or hauling buckets?"

"Am I working hard or am I working smart?"

These are the types of questions you need to start asking yourself if you are looking to create more success in your network marketing business.

How Does "Cashflow Quadrant" By Robert Kiyosaki Relate To Your Network Marketing Business?
July 12, 2008 7:19 PM
The story Kiyosaki tells about carrying buckets vs. building a pipeline relates very well to the network marketing industry as a whole.

So what is hauling buckets in network marketing?

Hauling buckets is any activity that you do, that doesn't employ a system or leverage to help you maximize productivity.

I would dare to say that the large majority of the distributors in the network marketing industry are hauling buckets.

What are some examples of hauling buckets in your network marketing business?

Do you cold call leads in your network marketing business?

Do you prospect your friends and family?

Do you use "the three foot rule" or other old school traditional network marketing techniques?

If so, you are actually hauling buckets in your network marketing business.

Trust me when I say this to you—your leaders, those that are making the big six and seven figure incomes, they are not hauling buckets like the 'newbies' are.

Even if they are, they are doing only just enough so they can say they are "leading by example."

That's not a bad thing—it's leverage. The fact of the matter is they've built a pipeline.

What does "their"pipeline consist of?

If they are teaching you traditional network marketing techniques, their pipeline consist of you and a bunch of other distributors using these techniques while they leverage themselves using conference calls and the business opportunity meeting.

Instead of your leaders having to talk to prospects one by one, they get to get on a conference call or go to a hotel room, filled with prospects you and other distributors invited, do the presentation one time and make hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in one night while you make a few dollars maybe.

How would you instead like to build a pipeline and teach your organization to build a pipeline as well—from day one?

You can if you use internet network marketing attraction techniques.

When you use attraction marketing techniques you are building a pipeline instead of carrying buckets.

Like the second entrepreneur it may literally take you months, even a year to get your system up and running.

However, once you do get that system up and running the other distributors in your company won't be able to keep up.

Mike Dillard, author of Magnetic Sponsoring recently shared his experience attending his company's latest convention.

At the convention the network marketing company recognized the top five recruiters for the year. FOUR out of FIVE of those recruiters were in Mike Dillard's organization.

How is that possible?

It is possible because Mike Dillard taught his network marketing team how to build pipelines while the rest of the leaders in the company taught their teams how to carry buckets.

So ask yourself this question.

Are you building pipelines or are you carrying buckets?

If you're carrying buckets, even if you feel you need to continue to carry buckets, at the very least take some time out of your bucket carrying to start building a pipeline.

Your team, your network marketing company, your upline and most importantly, your bank account will thank you for it!

Old School MLM vs. Internet Attraction Network Marketing
July 21, 2008 8:45 PM
There is a war going on in network marketing.

In one corner, we have the traditional way of building the business.

The traditional way to build a network marketing business is to use strategies and tactics that focus on you as a distributor talking to one person at a time, belly to belly, so to speak.

Referred to as "old school MLM," this strategy has been used for decades to build many of the giants in the network marketing industry.

Leaders in such companies as Avon, Mary Kay, Amway and Herbalife credit their success and their incredible lifestyles to following a system based on this approach.

In the other corner, we have a relatively new way of building the business.

This method involves using strategies and tactics that focus on attracting prospects to you and pre-qualifying them in some fashion before you spend one on one time with them.

Referred to as "internet attraction network marketing," many new leaders in the industry who build their distributorships in the 21st century are using this type of approach to recruit and train their network marketing organizations.

Which way is better? The way that helps you to make the most money of course!

It really doesn't matter what I think, what your upline thinks or what anybody else thinks about how you prospect for your network marketing business.

The only thing that matters is whether your method of prospecting is putting money into your bank account on a regular and consistent basis.

Of course, you also want to make sure your time is used efficiently as well.

So What Are The Major Differences Between Old School MLM Prospecting Strategies And New School Internet Attraction Network Marketing Strategies?
July 30, 2008 9:28 PM
While there are many different techniques that are used with old school MLM prospecting, the one fundamental that remains the same is the one on one approach.

Network marketing leaders and proponents of this style of marketing have this to say about their approach...

"This is a business of people talking to people."

"It's a numbers game. You must go through the numbers in order to get the results."

"Any problem in your business can be solved with following the TTMP principle. TALK TO MORE PEOPLE!"

"You can't say the wrong thing to the right person and the right thing to the wrong person."

Are the Network Marketing Business Strategies of the 60's Still Effective?

While the above statements are true to a certain extent, what we must realize is that these strategies were developed in a completely different age than the one we live in today.

There are many things that are different in the age that these strategies were developed that no longer hold true today.

For example, back in the 60's, 70's and to a certain extent 80's, people conducted a lot of business face to face.

Doctors and attorneys would come to your house to do a checkup.

Salespeople would come to your house to do a presentation.

This is how a lot of business was conducted.

There was no internet. There was very little research that the average person could do.

You simply did a presentation and the person decided at the kitchen table if he or she wanted to accept or reject the concepts you were sharing.

In addition, there really weren't a lot of business opportunities available to the average person.

If you wanted to start a business, the only options that were available to you were to build a business from scratch, buy a business for sale or invest in a franchise.

Each and every one of these options required a significant investment of capital, time and energy.

Network marketing during this time period was one of the few business models that the average person could realistically raise the capital required to invest in.

It was also one of the only businesses that could be done on a part time or spare time basis.

However, in the 90's and especially since the year 2000, the effectiveness of traditional network marketing strategies have severely diminished.

Whereas before it was very realistic that if you made a list of 50 friends, you could sign up half of them, now it is also very realistic that if you made a list of 50 friends, you could sign up NONE of them!

How The Birth Of The Information Age Affects Your Network Marketing Business?
August 2, 2008 11:32 AM
What happened to cause such a dramatic shift in the network marketing industry and the effectiveness of the strategies used to build the business?

The birth of the information age!

The information age was born as a result of the Internet.

With the internet the average person could actually do research on a particular business concept.

Negative comments about a specific company or even network marketing as a whole can be found at the click of a button.

Skepticism overall has increased in the information age. People are bombarded with marketing messages on a regular and consistent basis.

It is now more difficult to distinguish yourself and your marketing message.

As a result, traditional old school network marketing techniques such as making a list of friends and family, approaching people you meet using the three foot rule and cold calling leads are very similar to a water company carrying buckets to houses as oppose to running water in a pipeline.

It works but it's extremely ineffective.

Internet Attraction Network Marketing Is The Pipeline For The Network Marketing Industry.
August 4, 2008 9:10 PM
With this Internet attraction marketing business model you can build a system that will consistently generate new prospects for you to talk to.

Prospects who have actually requested information about network marketing as oppose to people who you have to "pique their interest."

This business model also introduces additional opportunities for wealth creation that simply aren't available with traditional network marketing.

For instance, how would you like to have all of your opportunity meetings paid for before you even show up?

With the internet attraction network marketing model you can set up what is called a funded proposal.

This is where you offer an information product related to network marketing to your prospect that the prospect pays for in advance.

A prospect that pays money for information on network marketing is more qualified than someone you asked on the street "do you keep your income options open."

In addition, you can use the money you generate from your prospects to fund your business expenses until you are making enough money in residuals from the efforts of your organization.

The choice is yours -- Old School MLM or Internet Attraction Network Marketing?

Would you rather continue to build your business one on one, belly to belly with prospects with various levels of interest?

Or would you rather only deal with prospects who are seriously interested in network marketing and have already spent money before you talk to them?

I personally would rather spend my time dealing with prospects who are serious and have the capacity to do this business.

I believe the most effective way to find this type of prospects is by using the internet attraction network marketing business model.

Best Network Marketing Success Tips
August 6, 2008 8:19 PM
If you are looking to achieve network marketing success, there is a right way to do network marketing and there is a wrong way to do it.

If you do it the right way over a long enough period of time, you will be able to attract others into your organization that will also do it the right way.

Once that happens, duplication occurs and you will have an income that comes in regardless of what you do personally.

This is the key to network marketing, to attract enough people that do it right that you are able to leverage the efforts of your organization.

To accomplish this, here are the top 3 best network marketing success tips for you and your business.

Tip #1 - Become the hunted, not the hunter:

Too many people in this industry chase after prospects.

When you chase after prospects you give up all of your power and posture to the prospect.

You create the impression that you need the prospect in your business.

This results in no show appointments, missed phone calls, lots of activity with little results to show for it and just a frustrating experience.

Instead of chasing after prospects you should have prospects chase after you.

How do you do this?

You do this by creating an effective marketing system designed to attract and pre qualify prospects for you.

You attract prospects by targeting the people who are most likely willing and able to participate in network marketing and that is people already in network marketing.

You build a system consisting of lead capture pages, auto responder emails and a retail information product to separate the serious from the curious.

A prospect that is willing to go through all of these steps is more qualified then a prospect that is not.

Tip #2 - Promote YOU, not your opportunity or product:

When you promote your opportunity or product you have nothing that separates you from all of the other network marketing distributors in your company.

As a result, you give your prospects no reason to sign up with you other than the fact that you might have been the first or the latest one to expose this prospect to your particular network marketing product or opportunity.

The only way for you to distinguish yourself from the other distributors in your network marketing company is to promote yourself and not the opportunity and product.

By promoting yourself and what you can offer in value to the prospect you now have what is referred to marketing as a unique selling proposition.

Known as a USP (unique selling proposition), this is simply what separates you from the alternatives.

People can offer the same opportunity as you.

People can market the same products as you.

What people cannot offer though, is YOU and that's how you distinguish yourself from the competition.

Tip #3 - Understand the 80/20 rule:

Most of the time you here this rule apply to your organization production.

80% of your production will come from 20% of your distributors.

However, this is not what I am referring to.

I am talking about the 80/20 rule of success in network marketing.

80% of your success is dictated by your attitude and philosophy.

20% of your success is dictated by how you do the business.

If you notice whenever you read any book on network marketing or listen to any training, they always talk about attitude and philosophy.

It doesn't matter whether they are training on old school network marketing techniques or new school Internet network marketing prospecting strategies, attitude and philosophy is always discussed.

You can master all of the proper techniques for marketing your network marketing business on the Internet. However, if you don't have a positive philosophy and a positive attitude about building the business, you will NOT have success.

If you follow these three critical tips, you will experience massive network marketing success and we will be reading about your story in your company's profiles of success magazine or book!

Spotting a Network Marketing "Dinosaur Egg"
July 29, 2008 6:08 PM
We've all been to a museum, or at least seen pictures—

Dinosaurs were here. But then something changed and now they're gone.

Have you seen something like this happen within your lifetime?

Anyone over age 35 recalls the 8-track tape.

Gone!

Everyone remembers something that once was—that seemed permanent—only to be replaced by something new.

And so it will be for what you remember about Network marketing, or as some call it, Multi-Level Marketing or MLM—an industry that thrived on chasing prospects like kids hunting down eggs on Easter.

But chasing prospects with excitement and glee, as fun as it was for some, wasn't quite Easter Sunday for most.

Not surprisingly, many people found it awkward approaching friends, family and neighbors. Some even turned to cold-calling for relief only to find it as easy as pulling their own teeth.

But this isn't why Network Marketing, as we once knew it, became like the Dinosaur... because all of these challenges by themselves weren't stopping MLM. It was thriving in spite of all that.

Hope, dreams, and the strong desire to embetter ourselves and families kept old-school MLM alive.

People created dream boards and worked on their 'Why'... they developed a stronger belief system to do what their bodies naturally resisted.

In order for old-school MLM to die, something better had to emerge... and it did.

Network Marketing Didn't Fail - It Developed Into Something New and Better

It was the Internet that changed network marketing, but not the Internet you knew in 2001, 2002 or even 2006.

We're talking about the "new" Internet that's emerged—the era of Social Media Marketing and Web 2.0... the era of the non-techie.

This is when regular folks—who fumbled sending an email—could now harness the power of the Internet like a web master or programmer... without knowing a darn thing about any of it.

They could interact with more personalization than a telephone.

They could set up a million-dollar streamlined marketing campaign on a shoe-string.

They could attract their prospects to them and that changed everything.

Back to the Dinosaur Egg...

Old-school MLM, as we know it today, is dying.

This dying industry offers a perfect opportunity for those who see it—a golden egg.

As network marketers, we are familiar with "getting in front of the trends." While we've seen the phrase overstated in the marketing of "business opportunities"—some trends are massive and obvious.

It didn't take me long to switch from an 8-track tape to a mini-cassette—and then to a CD once I had the choice. No one had to pull my arm.

And so it will be for many network marketers when introduced to the new Internet attraction model.

Few will continue chasing their warm market or cold calling leads when they can have interested prospects coming to them instead.

Indeed, if there was ever TRULY a right place at the right time in network marketing, we're standing on it now.

Because this "new" network marketing trend is massive... it's not exclusive to any one company or opportunity—it's available to everyone.

So grab your basket. Let's go!
