What You Really Want from Your Network Marketing Business? The Law of Attraction

What do I want from my network marketing business? What
a strange questionof course I know what I want. Doesn't everybody?
Well you may be surprised to learn, as I was, that no, everybody doesn't
know what they really want. In fact most don't. Actually, it's way over 90%
who don't have a clue what they really want.
Oh sure, they can give you a pretty long list of what they don't want, but
when it comes to what they do want, they frankly don't know how to answer that
one.
What does this have to do with my network marketing
business?
OK, that's interesting, but what has that got to do with my building a successful
network marketing business?
Well, this may surprise you just as
much as the previous question, but the answer iseverything! Yes, your network
marketing business can never be as successful as it could be if you simply knew
what you really wanted.
The way all this works is thisfollow me carefully. If all you're focused
on is what you don't want, guess what you're attracting more of? You guessed
it! More of what you don't want.
The Law of Attraction: Focus your attention on where you want to go
rather than on where you don't want to go.
You're actually focusing on what you want to get away from rather than on
where you want to go. That's like trying to drive by looking through your
rear-view mirror. It may seem to work for a short time, but long-term it is
going to be moving you backwards rather than forwards.
You see, there is a principle (some would go so far as to call it a
universal law also known as The Law of Attraction) that tells us that what we
focus on grows. Focus on what you don't want, and what you don't want will
grow. See the problem?
I don't want to be broke all the time. I don't want to have to keep
juggling funds in my checking account or juggling my charge cards just to pay
the most current bill. These are all statements of what you don't want.
How about, "I just want to have more money?" Is that better? Now it's a
statement of what I wantright? Well, close... but no cigar. Close only counts
when playing horseshoes.
You see, when you say, "I just want to have more money," can you see that
the root of that statement is "I don't have enough money right now." Are you
beginning to see the problem? Again, you are focusing on lack. Yes, maybe the
focus is unconscious, but that's still the focus.
By now you're perhaps about to give up in frustration. Well what can I say
that won't be seen as a statement of lackafter all, my lack is reality. Are
you suggesting that I need to lie and say something like, "Every day in every
way, more and more money is coming my way?"
No, that would indeed most likely be a lie, and we're beginning to
understand that repeating a statement over and over that is basically untrue
actually creates more stress on the body which in turn causes all kind of
havoc. That's why affirmations don't always work as promised.
A great network marketing business goal example.
Actually, the best way to express a monetary goal would be to structure it
as a goal statement. Something like, "By this time next month, I will have
earned $500 from my network marketing business."
Now you have a fantastically clear goal that your subconscious mind will do
everything in its power to see come to pass. If you focus on a goal like that
you can rest assured that ideas will come to you that will make it possible for
you to grow your network marketing business such that you are earning that
extra $500.
Note that I said that ideas will come to you. Doors of opportunity will
come to you. All kind of unexpected things will happen that might make the
extra money a real possibility. Those ideas and opportunities revolving around
abundance may (and probably were) coming before, but your subconscious brain was
filtering them out because it was obediently focusing on the lack that you were
constantly thinking about.
So, may I suggest that you spend some quiet time really digging deep to
answer the basic question, "What do I really want." You might be amazed at your
answer to that question. And you might be even more amazed at the results that
you begin to see when you turn your mind toward abundance.
