Eric Walker Interviews Marketing Merge Professionals

Hi, I'm Eric Walker. I joined Renegade Professional in mid April of 2008 because I wanted to be in business for myself, and I wanted that business to be on the internet.
At the time, I wasn't so sure what that business was going to be. Unlike a lot of other people, I hadn't read Magnetic Sponsoring or The Renegade Network Marketer. I didn't read those books until I upgraded to Renegade Professional. I had never joined a network marketing company.
I've always been a teacher and coach. I have taught fourth and fifth grade and middle school English. I have coordinated community boys and girls youth sports organizations. Teaching, learning and organizing teaching and learning environments has always been what I do best.
Like so many others, I began financially educating myself by reading many of Robert Kiyosaki's books. I saw the need and had the desire to build passive, recurring income. And I think those books infected me with a certain "bug" to earn and achieve more than what a public school teaching career was going to provide.
After eight years of teaching, I was faced with a tough decision. I could have finished my masters degree in language and literacy, which would require about a 10K investment. This would mean a slight raise, probably a new title, but more of the same public school bureaucracy.
Or go for my dream of owning and building what, deep down I really wanted, my own internet business. You see, I had grown tired of teaching, and desperately wanted to flex my entrepreneurial spirit.
Naturally, you can understand why I chose Renegade Professional to be the vehicle that connected the dots for me. Mike Klingler is a teacher, coach and mentor that has the unique ability to break down complicated technical tasks into "bite sized chunks." And while doing so, he not only engages your mind, he engages your heart.
So it was Mike Klingler's model that I began shaping myself, recognizing his ability was like rediscovering my own abilities to communicate, teach and lead.
