The Pampered Chef has been in business for over 20 years. The company is a part of the prestigious Berkshire Hathaway family of businesses.  They offer a number of tools to aid chefs in the kitchen as well as a network marketing business opportunity.

The Pampered Chef Product Lineup
 
The Pampered Chef offers kitchenware, bakeware, cookware and other related products.  The company provides a number of products to help simplify meal preparation.
 
Pampered Chef offers cookware items such as gravy separators, meat lifters, micro cookers, rice cookers, roasting pans and more.  The company also offers kitchenware items like mixing bowls, ice cream dipper, and measuring cups.
 
The Pampered Chef Compensation Plan
 
The Pampered Chef Compensation pays anywhere from 20 to 25% commission based on the amount of sales you make each month.
 
Once you make at least $15,000 in career sales, your commissions increase to 22 to 27% commission.  This rate is higher than the previous rate for the same sales volume.
 
Recruiting people onto your team will help you  earn overrides based on the sales of your organization.  For instance, if you can build a team to the level of Director, you will earn a 3% override on the sales of everybody on your team that is not under another Director.
 
To reach the Director level it requires building an organization that produces at least $4000 in retail sales for the month with at least $350 in personal sales.  You also need a minimum of at least 5 active consultants in your organization.
 
To get started in Pampered Chef there is an initial investment of $155.  This pays for the products and tools that you will need to get started doing your first cooking show where you demonstrate the products and get paid on the orders collected.
 
Can You Build A Pampered Chef Business Online?
 
Pampered Chef doesn't allow any advertising of the business online in any way shape or form.  This seemingly makes it difficult to build a Pampered Chef business using internet marketing strategies and techniques.  However, it's not if you know what you are doing.

Tupperware - Reviewing the Business Opportunity

For over 50 years, the Tupperware brand has been synonymous with the kitchen food storage arena. Even competing products are in many cases referred to as "Tupperware" by consumers. That is how powerful the brand name has become.

The company is based on a simple philosophy of enlighten, educate and empower.  This philosophy drives the company in all its dealings with both the sales force of independent representatives as well as the clients that purchase the products and services.

What Else Does Tupperware Sell Besides Tupperware?
 
You obviously know about the Tupperware storage products.  The network marketing company offers storage products to store all types of items in the kitchen in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.
 
You may not know about some of the other products the company sells.  For instance, did you know that Tupperware sells toys for kids as well as storage products that make it easy for kids to bring food to school? Tupperware also sells cutlery & cookware items such as knives, pots and pans.

How Does The Tupperware Compensation Plan Work?
 
Getting started in the Tupperware business opportunity requires an investment of less than $80.  This gets you $330 worth of product that you can sell at the famous Tupperware parties that the company promotes.  For $109.99 you can purchase a kit including $470 of product.
 
In order to remain active in Tupperware you must make a minimum of $350 in sales every 4 months.  If you become inactive, you can reactive your business by submitting a reactivation fee of $10.  However, you lose your entire downline.
 
As a new Tupperware consultant you receive a 25% commission on all the Tupperware product sales you make personally. 
 
If your personal sales exceed $1200, you receive a 5% bonus.  If your personal sales exceed $3200 you receive a 10% bonus.  Once you recruit 3 Tupperware consultants, $2000 in team sales and $500 in personal sales in one month, you become a Manager.
 
As a Tupperware Manager, you now earn overrides off the sales of your organization.  You earn anywhere from 4% to 8% based on the amount of qualified consultants you have that are active on your team.  For example, 3 or more puts you at the 8% level.
 
As you continue to move up the compensation plan by increasing your team volume and active consultants, you continue to move through the compensation plan. For instance once you reach $10,000 a month in team volume you become a Director in Tupperware.
 
In the Tupperware compensation plan your team consists of yourself and all of the distributors you personally recruited.  Once you reach the Director level your team consists of everyone in your downline not under another Director.
 
Can You Build The Tupperware Opportunity Online Without Parties?
 
There are many Tupperware consultants who would love to learn how to combine the internet and network marketing.  You don’t have to build your Tupperware business using parties.  In fact, Tupperware gives you access to your own personal web site where you can market the products online and receive commissions from online orders.
 
However, typically most Tupperware leaders are only familiar with the party approach.  Very few offer internet network marketing training.
